What we sell

We sell technical services on Volkswagen Group infotainment units and control units: component-level repair, updating, coding and adaptation of units entrusted to us by the customer or already fitted to their vehicle.

The client area subscription gives access to a technical archive and to the tools that go with it: search by vehicle, by part number and by VIN, compatibility sheets and support. What is paid for is access to the service, not the individual files: no file is sold separately, and the subscription transfers no rights over the content.

Anyone who does not want the subscription can still register: the "shipments and repairs" account does not include the archive and is there to open repair requests and to follow shipments.

The archive files

The software, maps and datasets held in the archive remain the property of their respective owners — the vehicle manufacturer, the unit supplier or the map licensor. We do not claim ownership of them and we do not transfer it to anyone.

They are made available to the subscriber to carry out work on units they own or on which they are authorised to operate, in the course of their own professional activity.

It is not permitted to:

  • redistribute, resell, publish or share the files with third parties, on any basis, free of charge or for payment;
  • pass on your credentials or make access available to others;
  • systematically extract the content of the archive with automated tools.

The subscription is personal and tied to a single operator. Access is logged; use that is incompatible with these terms can lead to the suspension of the account with no refund of the remaining period.

Work, coding and adaptations

Coding, adaptations and software version management operations are carried out at the customer's request, on vehicles and units that the customer owns or on which they are authorised to work, and with the data they provide to us.

It is the customer who chooses the work and who knows the use they will make of the vehicle. It therefore remains their responsibility to check that what they are requesting is permitted in the country where the vehicle is used, and to fulfil any obligations to update the registration or type-approval documents. If a request is unclear on this point, the right way to proceed is to ask us first: we can refuse a job, and sometimes we do.

Repairs and shipments

The quote is confirmed before the work. If a different or more extensive fault emerges on the bench than the one declared, we tell you and we decide together: we do not carry out work that has not been agreed.

Shipments to us and back are arranged by courier. The customer must pack the unit in a way suitable for transport: damage caused by insufficient packing is not covered.

On the work carried out we grant 12 months' warranty on the fault repaired: if the problem comes back, the second job is on us. The warranty is limited to the defect repaired. It does not cover later damage from tampering, incorrect fitting, overvoltage or liquids, nor faults other than the one for which the unit was entrusted to us.

Subscription, payment and withdrawal

The subscription is annual and the prices are those shown in the client area at the time of signing up. It does not renew itself without your knowing: at expiry, access to the archive closes and the account remains, with your data and your jobs.

The service is aimed at professional operators. If you sign up as a consumer within the meaning of the Italian Consumer Code, you have fourteen days to withdraw; bear in mind that, if you ask for immediate access to the archive, the right of withdrawal is lost with the first download, and we tell you here so that you can make that choice knowingly.

What we cannot guarantee

The archive is a support to a technician's work, not an automatic process. The compatibility information is accurate to the best of our knowledge but must be verified on the vehicle: responsibility for the operation carried out remains with whoever carries it out.

The portal may be unreachable for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control. We do what we can so that it happens rarely and lasts a short time.

Personal data

How we handle data is set out in the privacy policy; the technical cookies used by the site are described on the cookie page.

Applicable law

Italian law applies. For relations with professional operators the court of Brindisi has jurisdiction. In relations with consumers, the court of the consumer's place of residence or domicile remains competent.

If they change

If these terms change, the page is rewritten and the date at the top updated. Changes take effect from the moment they are published and do not apply to work already agreed.
