The MOI3 Preh platform is fitted to Škoda and Volkswagen. We repair it at component level, with 15 firmware updates already tested in the workshop and the navigation maps ready for the units of this family.
The codes are read in the unit's service menu: if you know which one you have in your hands, you already know whether it is covered.
We work on the faulty component: the unit comes back with its own coding and its own VIN, ready to refit.
No sign of life or a start-up that stops halfway: we trace it back to the power supply and the regulators on the board.
The sound can be heard but the display stays off: LCD panel or backlight.
Digitizer replaced keeping the original panel where possible, with bench recalibration.
Navigation that does not lock onto the satellites or connected features that disappear: receiver, antenna or corrupted data.
What we see arriving, almost without exception, is the unit that no longer starts. Behind it, in the vast majority of cases, is the CPU, and when the damage is there, there is no going back: we prefer to say so before the part is sent, because a shipment for a diagnosis already written is only wasted time and money. So it goes to replacement: we deliver the unit already coded to the car's VIN, ready to install. To partner workshops, those that have our equipment in house, we can send the spare part alone and handle the coding remotely.
Every version was installed on a real unit before it went into the archive. Browsing is free, downloading is for subscribers.
We update MOI3 units in the workshop, or remotely if you are a partner workshop. The release notes and the supported starting versions are in the technical archive.
The navigation packages compatible with the units of this family, with the right instructions for the medium required.
Send us the part number printed on the label and the symptom: we will tell you what to expect and how much it costs. Free diagnosis, no obligation.
